Laminate
Laminate benchtops are available in a range of colours, finishes & profiles. Laminate benchtops are made by pressing 5mm laminate onto a HMR “high moisture resistant” particle board then moulded to the selected profile. Laminate finishes are available in gloss, texture, matt & etched. Profiles include square edge (available in desired thickness) tightform, 6x6, 9x9, & most commonly used postformed.
You also have the High Pressure laminate range which is 3 times more durable than the standard laminate. This is not available in all profiles as it is a thicker material & does not mould tight.
Laminate benchtops are still the most popular finish & will give you many years of use.

Granite Transformation

A stylish fusion of the highest quality man made stone and glass fragments play with light and colour adding a touch of luxury to this surface. Available in a range of sparkling colours for a multitude of applications. A classically styled finish you will take a shine to. Made from 95% granite combined with our state of the art polymer Granite Transformation has the look of natural granite.
Timber
Timber benchtops create a great feature within your family kitchen they are available in Australian & imported species & can be finished in a clear / coloured 2pak or oiled by hand. Of all the benchtops that are available timber does require the most upkeep it is recommended that you “O Cedar” timber every 3 months to protect & enhance the timber surface. As timber is a live material it will move & change colour over time as it gets use to its new environment. Several timbers are know to be soft & will mark & dent quite easily.
Solid Granite
Each slab of solid Granite / marble is the craftsmanship of mother nature. Stone that is quarried at a particular location may have similar colours and variations in pattern which is inherent to that specific quarry, but no two slabs are exactly alike.
Granite is a common and widely occurring type of intrusive, felsic, igneous rock. Granites are usually medium to coarse grained, occasionally with some individual crystals larger than the groundmass forming a rock known as porphyry. Granites can be pink to dark gray or even black, depending on their chemistry and mineralogy.
Marble is a metamorphic rock resulting from the metamorphism of limestone, composed mostly of calcite. It is extensively used for sculpture, as a building material, and in many other applications. The word 'marble' is colloquially used to refer to many other stones that are capable of taking a high polish.
